First, don’t panic. Head to your main property boundary or utility cupboard and turn the water isolation valve (stop-cock) fully clockwise to cut off the supply. Go to the lowest tap on the property (usually an external garden tap) and turn it on completely to drain the remaining pressurised water out of the internal lines safely. Once the flow stops, call our emergency plumber Kensington team straight away.
